NOTE: Dashington has had a major redesign, because I decided to give him a makeover :P.
Name: Dashington
Breed: Wolf(But he believes he’s a dog and wants to be like Balto, a sled dog)
Gender: Male
Personality: Rebellious, Courageous, Brave, Strong, Smart, Fast, and Protective
Looks: All white with smokey-black ears, paws, tail tip and scruff. Eyes are ice blue.
Siblings/Family: Unknown, but his adoptive father is Balto
History: He was born into a wolf pack, and a horrible blizzard blew in, thus causing the pack to have to move to a warmer place for the other pups and the sick. Dashington was left behind by the pack because he got separated from them in the storm and was found by Balto, the town hero of Nome, and Balto adopted him as a son. Dashington grew up believing he was a dog, he has very little memory of his past before he was adopted, and wants to become like Balto, who he believes to be his father by blood. Like Balto was before he became a legend, he gets teased around town for being a wolf, he doesn’t believe the other dogs that he is what he truly is, but the words still hurt him. A while after being pushed and kicked around about it, he told Balto, and Balto told him about his wolf-dog heritage, and after that Dashington believed he was a wolf-dog too, and that only made it harder for him knowing the truth, or at least half the truth. He tries hard to earn the trust of others, and he tries to show the other dogs that he is proud to be what he is, but even then they still tease him. A few months later after he had found out about Balto being a “half-breed” (and him assuming he was the same way), he decided to race the other dogs to see who would make the sled team. He won, but the other dogs wouldn’t let him be apart of it, and he told Balto what had happened that day, Balto explained to him that the same thing happened to him when he raced that race. Dashington then began to have dreams of a blizzard and a wolf pack that had to move from their paradise just to survived, he told Balto about these dreams and asked how to deal with them, Balto just told him to roll it off his shoulders and not worry about them, but Balto himself knew what his dreams were telling him. Dashington went on ignoring his dreams, but they got worse. Finally, Balto had no choice but to tell him the truth, after weeks of agonizing screaming nights of terror from Dashington dreaming, and he told Dashington the story of how he found him, and what he truly was. At first Dashington was having a hard time coping with the truth and Balto regretted telling him, knowing that Dashington knew that he wasn’t truly his father and that he wasn’t a dog nor a half-breed. Dashington however never left Balto or Nome, he stayed where he was as if it were where he belonged. And ever since he has lived with Balto for all his life, and after knowing about the meaning of his dreams, they never seemed to bother him after that, but they made him rather happy.
