Background

Born the eldest of Koltav, an Alaskan Husky, and Melle, a wolf-hybrid, in the family tribe on their 'Brook Song' stead territory.

Born the eldest, Norceen was destined to be the next leader of the family tribe of the Brook Song 'stead', after his father Koltav.

In their preadolescent days he and his siblings, Kelle and Narrah, would wander around and beyond the family territory, exploring the country. Sometimes, the lads would brave going near the town or Nome - their father later took them to have a scout around the streets.

Norceen met the Convert-Inuit people of Nome. Their music and closeness to nature enchanted him, and he spent a lot of time with them, tagging along on hunting trips in the forests and, during the winter, out on the frozen sea.
 

Upon reaching maturity, Norceen wandered less, sticking to Brook Song tribal lands, taking up the duties of a lead-to-be, only visiting the Inuits on rare occasions. However, they often came hunting on the Brook Song territory - but recognizing Norceen and his pack, refrained from harming them.

When his father passed away, Norceen and his mate Britocka became the leaders of the tribe.
