History: Taken from a box as a young pup, she doesnt remember either of her parents, and her siblings remained nameless until they were taken to their new homes. A young boy of 3 picked her up out of the box and his parents paid the owner for her. She grew up with this boy, Jacob. At the age of 2, she found one of her siblings, living just down the street. Her sister worked as a breeding dog. She was to be mated soon after they met, but 2 days after they had their meeting, her sister was killed in the first meeting of her new mate. The death of her sister hit her hard. Fawn fell into a depression and Jacob thought he would never bring her out of it.
As soon as she was big enough to fit into the halter, Jacob began to train her to be a sled dog. This brought her quickly out of the depression and distracted her from everything else in the world, accept Jacob. She was top of the races, always coming in first place, for 4 years. An unfortunate racing accident concluded Jacob's racing career with a broken leg and wrist. Each time after that, Fawn found herself being unable to race with any other musher but Jacob. She was soon retired for not complying to orders.
Because of her boy's injuries, Fawn would run errands for him. Every human in town knew her. She would take an envelope containing money and a list for the store clerks, and the clerk would hand her the bag of groceries, or mail.
One day, she walked into an alley on the way home from getting groceries for Jacob, and was stopped by a group of dogs who wanted the meat that she was carrying in the shopping bag. They knew she was weak, and could take her if she refused to give over the meat. She did refuse, so they maulled her. The only thing they didnt expect was for another dog to come to her rescue. Riley, a naturally sweet wolfdog, came to her rescue. Fawn had a broken leg and a severly battered body. They sat and taked for a little while and Fawn shared her treats with the stray. That one incedent began a great friendship and routine. Everyday, Fawn would take Riley on her errands. They would share treats and say their goodbyes.
One day, Riley didnt show in the alley and Fawn began to worry. She went looking for Riley to see if she was alright and came to find her with a boy. Thinking that they were mates, Fawn didnt bother them, but she did decide to get closer and listen. After listening to them talk for a few minutes, she realized that they were talking to casually to be mates. After hurting her leg while she listened, she fell into a trashcan and into plain sight. The male dog jumped, saw her, and got defensive of his sister. Fawn at first was shocked by his reaction to her, and was afraid, but after looking up into his eyes and whimpering, she saw the most beautiful pair of yes she has ever seen. She saw right through the act and into the nice kind dog underneath.
After seeing him a few more times with Riley, she realized that he was her sister. She also learned his name: Tolan. Eventually, she began to realize that the more she hung out with him, the more she began to like him.
He never realized that she wasnt a stray until one day, Jacob came looking for her. He began to avoid her and assumed that she had lied to him. One day, he left and went back to his pack, and she was heartbroken.
