....B....

Britocka lived in Aleu's clan since she was born. Throughout her childhood she was affectionately known as Voft's Girl, because her mother's sometimes-irritating-eager-to-please (and also proud) nature showed itself conspicuously in her own actions. This trait gradually wore off with age.

Britocka was loyal to her clan. However, her mother Voft was extremely proud, and despite having been a firm supporter of the previous leaders Nava and his mate (especially his mate) she, like Niju, totally disagreed with their decision to allow Aleu the wolf-dog to lead the pack. She would rather have had one of Nava's daughters as the new Alpha.

Even years into Aleu's leadership, Voft remained a rebellious member of the clan. Britocka and her brother Zekile (born on the island to which Aleu and the pack went in search of the caribou) were influenced by their mother's haughty feelings towards their Alpha as well as towards wolf-dogs and dogs in general which were, as Voft liked to put it, 'so much weaker than wolves'. It was only when Britocka was fully grown that she had a change of heart, after Aleu saved her from drowning on a journey across the ice bridge.

Britocka died naturally, aged twelve years and after a long life of serving her pack. She became the spirit guide of Annakpok, with the help of her friends Nava and Niju, who had passed away years previously.
