History: when he was young he saw his mother get shot by a hunter.When his sisters and him ran home to tell their dad everyone was gone.So from there on they lived on there one in nome alaska,Derek loved the races he saw he would always practice ruuning and dream of being in the races.He tried once,but once he set foot in there the crowd screamed,he thought it was cheering until a man shot at him,the bullet missed by a inch and Derek was so afraid he crouche and stood in his tracks shaking,then Pine yelled at him,her voice sounded a lot loke his mother's then he remembered his mom saying"Always be strong an fight back!"Derek did so and came to his sisters with only bruses and scratches.Now he would just pop in races.
