Personality: Stubborn, independent, brave, determined, fearless, challenging, loyal and not easily deterred from her goal. Illia isn’t afraid to get into trouble when it comes to doing the right thing. She’s a good girl, but if she has to, she will break the rules. Illia will always do what she thinks is right, and will fight for anything that she stands for.

History

Since the alpha's of Illia's pack had only two pups and they needed more members, they allowed Aniu to have pups with her mate, Everet; and thus Illia was second born in her litter, before Balto and after Kyrik. Her pack thought that Balto will still born and took him away right after birth and buried him in the winter snow, so Illia never knew she had a younger brother. Illia grew up with her older brother Kyrik and her cousins (who were the alphas' pups) Lilly and Jimmy.

When she was a year old, Jimmy and Illia were taken from their pack by an evil pack that called themselves the Anevay, which meant "superior". There, they learned that the pack's original name was Angpetu, which meant "Radiant, Day" and that they were taken over by a wolf named Titan and a group of his followers (Large sled dogs from Nome and some small but menacing wolves). Illia become friends with wolves her age in the Angpetu pack, while Jimmy got close to a girl named Rory.

Illia realizes that Titan is planning to kill the Alsoome Pack and that she and Jimmy must return to their pack soon before Titan sends his wolves to end everyone Illia cared about. Illia, one day is given the chance to escape with her friends and Jimmy; but Jimmy has fallen in love with Rory, (which is one of Titan's followers) and says that he wants to stay, but without Jimmy, the Alsoome Pack will not listen to Illia, especially since there is a chance that Lilly is the new alpha. So Illia decides to risk her chances and flees the Anevay pack with her friends, leaving Jimmy behind to care for Rory and their litter of three pups: Lux, Willa, and Ava.

Illia goes to the Alsoome Pack, where she tries to warn them of th impending danger of the Anevay Pack. However, since Illia's absence, Zeera and Aniu have died and Taz has retired from his alpha status. Lilly has since become the new alpha, and is suspicious of Lilly since she had run away years ago. Since Lilly had returned to the Alsoome with a few of her friends, and encrouraged Lilly to take the pack and find new territory, Lilly takes Illia's advice and believes that Illia is trying to scare Lilly and her old pack out of their territory so she can take it over. Lilly tells Illia to take her friends and leave, ignoring Illia's warning of an Anevay takeover. Illia is permitted to say a final goodbye to her father, Everet, who has grown old since he last saw his daughter. She also says goodbye to her brother Kyrik, who had ended up falling in love with Circe.

Illia takes her friends and forms a new pack, acting as the alpha female. Her pack ends up approached by a band of Ahiga wolves, who explain that they have travelled across all of Canada, Russia, and Alaska to dispose of Titan and the Anevay wolves. Illia and her pack decide to allign with the Ahiga, and recieve training to become the strongest fighters in Alaska to protect the preservation and peace of amongst all packs of North America and Northern Asia. Illia and her small band of friends are inducted into the Ahiga pack, and head the assault on the Anevay densite.

Illia purposefully gets herself caught on the Anevay border, and is taken to the main densite. There Illia expects to face punishment from Ethon (Titan's second-in-command), but it surprised to recieve punishment from Thalia (Ethon's sidekick, and Titan's third-in-command). While Illia is being punished, Titan orders for all the members to watch, since he wants to make an example out of Illia. With all the wolves focused on Illia's punishment, the borders for the Anevay territory are weak and the Ahiga wolves storm the territory.

In the chaos, Thalia throws Illia down into a tunnel and dashes off. Illia lands near some guards who are standing in front of a small cave. Confused, one of the two guards approaches Illia's limp body. As he sniffs her, and looks up at his companion in confusion, Illia takes the guard down with a swift move before lunging at the second one. She quickly disposes of the two guards and runs into the cave, where she finds Willa (Jimmy and Rory's daughter, who was taken prisoner by Titan to blackmail Jimmy to fight for the Anevay). Illia convinces Willa to trust her by explaining that they are both descendents of the Alsoome Pack due to their arrow markings. Illia asks Willa where Jimmy had gone, and Willa explains that she overheard that Jimmy, Ethon, and Titan had gone to meet up with the Alsoome Pack and had left Thalia in charge.

Illia takes Willa and the two rush to intercept the meeting. Illia sees through the trees that Titan and Ethon are trying to exchange Jimmy for the Alsoome Pack's surrender to the Anevay. Illia sees that Lilly had gone to the meeting with the Alsoome's strongest fighter, Travis, and Circe's brother Conor. Illia knows that Lilly will most likely take the deal, and dives between the two parties with Willa at her side. Lilly asks what Illia is doing, and Illia tells the group that at that moment, the Ahiga Pack is disbanding the Anevay wolves, and that the Angpetu wolves are freed. Illia tells Jimmy that Titan can no longer blackmail him, and Jimmy is free from Ethon and Titan's control. Jimmy rushes to embrace Willa. As Titan realizes that he is losing all his holdings, he attacks Illia.

This time, Illia can manage her own but the two tumble their way towards a cliff. Titan is able to pin Illia on her back at the cliff's edge. He goes for a finishing blow, but to Illia's surprise, Jimmy tackles Titan off of Illia. Outnumbered, Ethon and Titan flee. Jimmy helps Illia up and gives her a hug, repaying his debt to Illia for protecting and freeing Willa. Lilly tries to take Jimmy back with her to the pack, but Jimmy is dead set on finding Rory, Lux, and Ava. Jimmy asks Lilly to look after Willa while he and Illia return to the Anevay/Angpetu territory.

Illia and Jimmy make it back in time to see the aftermath. Many of the Anevay wolves went down with a fight, and there were few prisoners. One of the prisoners was Thalia. The prisoners were freed, including Lux. Jimmy and Illia tried to find Rory and Ava, and from what they gathered, Ava had run off, while no one knew where Rory was. Jimmy tried to track Ava, and Illia went with him, fearing that Titan and Ethon could be closeby. Jimmy and Illia ended up running to the edge of the forest and to an open tundra as a storm was pulling in. Jimmy tried to keep going, but Illia talked sense into him since it was too dangerous to stay out at night on the open tundra during a snow storm. Jimmy grieved the loss of Ava, whom Illia assumed dead, since it was highly unlikely she could survive the storm on the tundra.

Thalia was interrogated by Ahiga wolves, and Illia and Jimmy were allowed to listen to it. As it turned out, Thalia was in fact an Ahiga wolf, who left the pack when her mother was banished. She became a mercenary to survive, eventually coming under Ethon's employment when he saved her life from Titan. Thalia is told that Titan is on the lam, and she scoffs her disgust at Titan, saying that she never held much of an opinion for him. The interrogator brings up Ethono, and Thalia's reactions become more raw, which Jimmy picks up on (and later explains to Illia that when a wolf is in love, not much can be done to hide it, but Thalia has hidden it better than most). When asked where they would go, Thalia admits that she doesn't know, and that if she knew Ethon's location she would be obligated to give her life, implying that she owes Ethon a life debt. As the interrogator goes deeper into Thalia's past with Ethon and Titan, Illia comes up with the idea that Titan and Ethon may have gone to their childhood home to find a safe haven.

Jimmy then remembers Rory mentioning where she lived before she and her mother were taken prisoner. Jimmy tries to go on a search party to find Rory, but Illia convinces him that he needs to go home to the Alsoome pack and care for Lux and Willa. Illia promises Jimmy that she will reunite Jimmy and Rory. Illia, her small band of friends, Ahiga wolves, and Thalia journey north to Kotzebue, Alaska. Thalia is allowed to come to help track and locate Ethon, under the promise that she does not hider their search for Titan. Thalia is the first to approach an old densite, where she finds Ethon and Titan bickering inside the den with Rory sitting off to the side. Ethon asks Thalia how she managed to escape, and she tells the group that she is better than the Ahiga mutts. Thalia manages to lure Ethon and Titan out of the den, and when they are out, Titan is tackled by two Ahiga wolves from above and pinned to the ground. The rest of the wolves enclose on the den, preventing Thalia and Ethon from fleeing. Illia rushes into the den to find Rory, and encounters the wolf curled up and shaking. Illia manages to coax Rory out of her mental stress (since the den is where Rory's family was brutally murdered by Titan's father), and gets her out of the den, personally escorting Rory back to the Alsoome Pack and Jimmy.

Titan is taken prisoner by the Ahiga wolves, while Thalia and Ethon's fates are left up in the air. Illia is given the choice to live an as Ahiga wolf and roam the wilderness or return back to the Alsoome Pack like Jimmy, Rory, Lux, and Willa. Illia decides a third option and starts her own pack with her friends. She offers a home to Ethon and Thalia once they finish helping re-establish the Angpetu Pack, which the two gladly take. Illia becomes strong allies with the Alsoome Pack after gaining Lilly's trust, eventually changing Lilly's opinion about dogs and wolfdogs. Illia's father, Everet, decides to leave the Alsoome Pack to be with his daughter during his final years. Although Kyrik was also given a similar choice to be with his sister, he stayed in the Alsoome Pack to be with Circe and their adopted daughter Dreamer. Illia settles down as the alpha of her pack and lives the rest of her life out peacefully.
