Breed: ...? Some sort of sled dog.

Likes: Giving the others the wrong idea about herself, jumping into her owners bath while he's still in it, playing with her siblings, visiting her parents, watching sled races, looking after Peanut.

Dislikes: Seeing Peanut being teased (rarely happens) or hurt, being seperate from her owner for too long, missing out on walks, being locked in a different room when her owners eating, being alone when it's dark.

Personality: Gracie appears as an innocent young lady, polite and well-mannered with sense of respect to everyone. However, this is just her way of getting others into a false sense of security. Really, she's a feisty little dog with a determination to live life to the absolute full. Despite her age, she is very nursing and mothering, not to any old dog however, but to Peanut, a young male Sitka deer fawn her owner is hand rearing. She doesn't have much of an opinion about guys. She just tends to see them as another friend or enemy, she's not one to flirt and basically feels too busy to bother with males at all.

Realtionships~

Parents- Gracie has a good bond with her parents. However, she's not all over them, flashing her little eye-lashes at them. She's knows she can go to them for advice, and that's enough for them and for her.

Siblings- Weeeell now, Gracie has an 'okay' bond with her siblings. However, they find her changing of personalities awkward and usually don't know if she means something or not which kinda drew them apart from her. This never stopped them from including her in games though.

Peanut- Gracie truely loves Peanut with all her heart. She treats him like her own child and teaches him some of the vital lessons in life. She would protect him in any situation without a doubt.

History~

Gracie was born in the warmth of her mothers home. She has a pretty good puppyhood and nothing particularly bad or different happend. At 10 weeks, she was adopted by a single, 36 year old man who was looking for a sled dog to help him carry his equipment on the job (he's a conservationist/vet.) Gracie (who was a little 'chunkier' than her fellow siblings) fitted the bill perfectly, and so she went to live with him. She tried to visit her parents as often as she could though.

Gracie grew to her job well. She was a strong little lady and took it in her stride. Then one day while out looking for a particular rare plant of some sort (Gracie wasn't sure what though) they came across a little sitka deer fawn with his front leg caught in a trap. Although it wasn't fatal, his leg was broken and his mother was no where to be seen and had probably moved on. Gracie's owner decided the only way to save him was to hand rear him back to health. Gracie found the little deer such an odd little creature, like nothing se had seen before. Curiousity lead her to talk to the little fawn, and the two immediately gained a bond. Peanut, which is what Gracie's owner called him, said how scared he was without his mother to teach him things or protect him. Gracie felt awful, and therefor vowed to be Peanut's 'mother-figure' and keep him from danger.
