Personality: A joker to the core, Loki loves to prank others as his name suggests. Unlike most pranksters, he likes to own his work and let other packs know who is behind their misfortunes. Loki is a vigilante, serving up oddly ironic or humiliating "punishments" to those whom he feels has done something wrong. He thinks of himself as a crusader for justice when really he's just a persistent pest. Loki is not above kicking a dog while he's down.

History: Loki was born to a coyote and a wolf, lending him the strength and loyalty of a wolf and the cunning and adaptibility of a coyote. Raised by his wolf mother, the idea of morality and what is good and evil was pushed on him. He was taught that there is a balance and that when this balance is upset, it must be corrected; by whatever means necessary.

While with the pack he saw so many things he was disgusted by. Greed, lies, violence. He decided to leave the pack and strike out on his own to right these wrongs, starting with the dogs of Nome. He'd use pranks to humiliate them and let out a coyote-like shriek of laughter when the "wrongdoer" was hit by the prank. The shriek became the coywolf's signature.

His latest target has been Steele; whom he has deemed an enemy to children. He has confronted the malamute about his lies and has decided to make him pay for it with public ridicule. Loki is currently working on a complete smear campaign.

Relation to Balto: A nemesis to Steele, Loki has been haunting him for the events of the Serum Run.
