Appearance: Very light tinted sand color, cream-like coat. White-ish/grey underbelly, chest, paws and underside tail.

Personality: Zapheu can easily sympathise with others. He can stick to rules and even make some, but he’s not the strict kind.

He shows his emotions easily, only with strangers or unwelcome guests, does he school his emotions behind a strong mask.

He’s pretty head-strong, except with Seth who can easily persuade him. He’s very gentle with Seth and always in for some fun, which Seth wants often as a young pup/wolf.

He may seem too good for his own good, but when faced with danger, he can abruptly change into a tough, no-nonsense wolf that will not hesitate to attack if pushed too far.

Abilities/skills: Strong fighter, Grace under pressure meaning doesn’t panic but thinks his way out of difficult situations easily.

History: When he was born, Aniu’s pack consisted of 10 wolves, him and Silver not included. Silver left the pack when she was 2 years old, but Zapheu decided to remain.

Around the time he was 3 years old, Aniu had been gone for a short while and when she returned tensions rose within the pack when the secret came out that she was expecting pups again. The tension between the alpha pair broke the pack apart as each was forced to chose a side. Though still one pack, harmony was far to be found, but they struggled on.

Those who chose Aniu’s side could see how much she had loved that Husky and felt sympathetic to her case. A husky could never join a wolf pack, even if they tried it would not work.

Zapheu had chosen his mother’s side. He never liked their father’s far too strict “leash” on him and silver. Silver escaped it by leaving, but Zapheu did not want to leave this pack. He was also excited about the litter and the prospect of younger siblings.

When Aniu gave birth to four young pups – Hayate [M], Balto [M], Mueya [F] and Seth[M] – Zapheu’s father tried to kill the pups. Aniu’s side of the pack defended the pups. When it was clear he could not get to the pups, Zapheu’s father attacked Aniu out of anger. Aniu chased Zapheu’s father and his followers away and the pups were save for the moment.

But when the pups were a month old the pack got into a territorial fight with another pack. Normally they could have handled it easily, but now with half of their pack gone, they could not win. Zapheu managed to find Seth in the chaos and knowing his mother would make her pups first priority, Zapheu ran away with Seth to safety.

Later he backtracked in the hopes of relocating the pack, but was unsuccessful. Accepting that the pack was either dead or too far scattered, Zapheu raised Seth on his own.

An incident when Zapheu was 4 years old [Seth being 1 year old] resulted in his death.
