History: Prince was born on a farm not far from Nome, where his owners where breeding and raising show-dogs. His show name is “Royal Alaska”. That’s basically how he got the name “Prince”. When he was sold to a dog-showing family in Nome, he was only a year old. But Prince adjusted fairly quickly, and his popularity grew very rapidly. He became BFF’s with a dog-called Kodi. The two would spend hour’s together, chasing birds, playing in the snow, teasing girls and whatnot. When Prince’s family took him showing, he would be gone for days on end. Kodi barely ever got to see his friend. Prince won a ton of 1st place medals for his conformation and beauty, but missed his friend dearly. He would rather be at home, playing with his best friend.
When Prince got back to Nome about a few months later, something caught his eye. Kodi was yelling at a helpless young dog. Her name was Bambi. She was beautiful! When Prince saw this, he immediately wanted to go help her, but was smart and stayed behind the bushes. Bambi has followed his run-away friend secretly. He followed the girl quietly, while behind the bushes of course, for a few miles, before he came to a small alley. Kodi there met up with a girl named Dusty… he’s had a crush on her for quite a while, but just a crush, at least when Prince left. Could this be true? It was Dusty! And… she was pregnant! Prince then realized what was going on. The brown female ran off, heartbroken it seemed like. She had fallen in love with Kodi, and then he just was off being with another girl!
This made Prince angry! He walked back home, furious that his friend would do such a thing to Bambi. When he came back to his house, he found the girl hiding under a wooden porch. She had a collar on, yet, she seemed like she had no home. Prince quietly sneaked up on the female, just laying there, crying. He softly went up to her, and asked her why she was so sad. Bambi was startled at first, but then her heart stopped and she gazed upon the dashing young husky. She told him what happened, and he comforted her. He told Bambi that Kodi is not that good of a guy anyway.
Before long, the two fell deeply for one another, and they met each other at night, every night, for the next few months. He wanted Bambi to go live with him and his masters very badly, but he knew that they probably wouldn’t want a stray near a high-quality show dog like him, let alone mate and have pups. They probably would’ve thought that would ruin their chances of getting more show dogs, rather than pets.
When Prince was out sledding with his owners one day, he was badly mauled by a moose, breaking his shoulder and ribs, which resulted in a punctured lung. He almost died that day, but his love for Bambi helped him survive.
After the accident, Prince’s family decided that because of his condition, it was no longer right to show Prince. They kept their trophies and ribbons, but from that day on, Prince was just a good old house pet! He was so happy when he heard that there was no more showing. For one, no more baths every second day, and most importantly, Bambi would have a much bigger chance of finding a place in his family’s hearts. He still went to see Bambi, but was careful not to lead his owners to where he was with her, for the next few weeks.
When the time was right, Prince eventually brought his owners to where Bambi was. The kids of the family liked her especially, and she was really friendly toward them. The family agreed to take Bambi in! She was a new member of the Clark family!
