History-
When Aleu ran away from home, Matah was living in the woods near her. She thought Aleu was a hunter and attacked her, but stopped when she realised what Aleu really was. She helped the wolf hybrid up, saying, "Sorry, I thought you were a hunter." Aleu was confused, did this wolf mean a human with a gun, like the one she'd seen earlier? Matah introduced herself, and Aleu returned her friendly gesture. "I'm Aleu," she said. "My father is Balto, and my mother is Jena." She growled to herself at her father, who had just told her he was part wolf. "Are you okay, Aleu?" Matah whispered. "Yeah, I'm...fine," muttered Aleu.
A few weeks later, Matah did the same, but with a pure-bred husky. The male had wandered into her territory, but she didn't feel compelled to attack him. She jumped down instead, landing in front of him, but she didn't get the surprized reaction as when she did this to Aleu. The male stood tall, and touched his nose to Matah's in a gesture of friendship. Matah axcepted it, and touched her own nose to his. She invited the male into her den, to introduce himself, and her to him, and to share her kill from earlier this morning. "My name is Matah," the she-wolf said gently. "I'm Barley," the male replied. For the first time Matah could see his fur color. He was a rich chocolate, with few splotches of white, one was on his eye, and another on his ear, which was bleeding badly. Matah licked his many wounds, she was sure he'd gotten into a fight. "Matah..." Barley groaned with pleasure, "I can't keep from breeding with you." "That's fine," Matah said, then whispered in his ear, "I don't want you to." "I don't want to hurt you," he protested. "I've been through worse," Matah whispered again. Barley couldn't argue anymore, he bred her, and Matah's sides bled from his claws digging in her. Weeks later, Matah had her pups, and Barley snuck away from his humans to live with the beautiful wolf. Her pups were very cute, most were brown with black splotches, but two were different. One, Eclipse, seemed too dark to be the mates' pup, while the other, Snow, was completely white, too light to be the mates' pup.
Relation- Aleu's best friend.
