History: Chance was born in a dog kennel in White Mountain, Alaska. He was sold to another dog breeder, and was transported to Nome the very next day. The spaces over there at those kennels were absolutely cramped and small! There were several dozens of dogs in unhealthy conditions at the kennel, and Chance was bred over and over again. Disease was a fear of every dog on the property, claiming a life each day. Dogs would pour in every week, and with more dogs, came more pups. After a terrible 11 month stay at the kennel, his troubles, along with all the other dogs’, was over. Police arrived and seized all the dogs from the property, dubbing it as a puppy mill. Chance was tied to a chain at the police station along with several other dogs. He spent hours chewing on the rope in which he was held, when it finally snapped, and he was free at last! Chance found refuge with the Java pack, and became the second dog member! He fell for the first dog to be a “wolf”. Her name was Mischa, a 1-year-old Pit bull terrier. And boy was she beautiful! Those spots and patches on her smooth coat gave her that sensitive appearance, and Chance liked it! They became mates, and the two are soon planning on having pups!
