Name: Mac, but called Ol'Mac
Age: 10-11
Gender: Male
Breed: Leonberger/Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd
Build: BIG. He's very large and muscular, like a Leonberger and GP.
Parents: unknown
Siblings: unnamed
Personality: Calm, wise, friendly, and easy going. He rarely gets angry, and takes everything in stride. He's like a father figure to the rest of the ranch dogs, being the one they go to if they need advice. Believes in a simple life and such things as awards and trophies do not mean much to him.
History: Born in a large litter, he had an average puphood and was adopted by Mr. Mcaslin. He was the Mcaslin's first dog, and was trained to watch their herd of cattle, and later, caribou. Eventually, the Mcaslin's bought more dogs to help Mac, and Mac taught the new dogs everything he knew about herding.
Later, when the Mcaslin's bought some young dogs, one of them, a feisty black female called Brier, Ol'Mac took her under his wing and the two became very close.
His age started to catch up with him, and Ol'Mac went from herding cattle to caribou, where one day he got kicked, broke his leg, and the vet said he shouldn't be used for herding anymore. Ol'Mac retired and is a house pet with JoBeth and Dally, while his replacement is Sugarcube.
