Personalty: shy, naive, and trusting. Feels a little misunderstood at times. She is grateful and trustworthy. Friendly and brave, Nellie is a good friend, but at times, can be a little too trusting. However, she can be quick-thinking if caught in battle. Loyal and faithful to the end if neccesary.

History:

Nellie was born in a town that was near Nome. She was the youngest of three. Her mother named her something different, but she was stolen and taken to Nome at a young age. The dog-napper had plotted to claim her as his own and enter her as a winning show-dog. Nellie was promising, but knew she wasn't supposed to be with this human. But she didn't want to try and escape. She was afraid that if the man found her again, he would punish her with pain. Luckily, the dog-napper tried to take one of Balto's pups and Balto fought him until the man was taken away, never to be seen by Nellie again. Balto found Nellie and wanted to take her in, but Jenna said they had too many puppies to care for already. They agreed to look after her until she could be adopted by a human. For some reason, baby Kodi began to call her Nellie, and so Nellie she became. Nellie was soon adopted by a human she liked more than the other one. Although Nellie didn't like it when the human's very young kids played roughly with her, Nellie learned to love the family. She had many good friends but there was no question her bestest friends were Minty, Chloe, Sky, Lassie, Lexi, and Aleu. When Aleu left for her journey in WQ, Nellie was very worried for her and was twice as nervous Aleu wasn't okay when Balto told some dogs she was leading a wolf pack. But when Lexi offered to let her and the others join a wolf pack, Nellie somehow knew she would see Aleu again. Through the entire journey, Nellie tried to be brave and cheerful, although many times, she found it diffucult. Nellie was entirely grateful for her patience when she met Aleu in the woods and realized they had meant to join her pack the entire time. Nellie is perfectly content now that she is with all of her best friends again and is living life to the fullest.
