Personality: He's a typical boy. Rowdy, likes to run, play, and get dirty. Being the only boy in the house, he takes it upon himself to "be the man of the house" and watch over his mother and sisters, making sure they don't get hurt. He takes this very seriously and is very protective of them, mostly his sisters, and especially Faline. He's very protective of her, and really hates hearing the rumors about her around town.

History: Cardinal was the only boy, and thus took it upon himself to watch over everyone and make sure they didn't get hurt. Despite this, he eagerly went along with Jobi's plans to get Raven to like them, while Chava was skeptic about the plans working. The trio spent most of their time upstairs or outside, because whenever Raven was home, she and Charley would go into the kitchen or den and the next thing they knew they'd hear shouting and Raven would leave again. With Raven hardly ever home, Jobi's plans didn't get a chance to be used.

Charley wouldn't tell the trio about their father, so they went to Raven for answers. Raven bitterly told them about Derrek, and the trio went to Charley, who told them she and their father had issues and separated. This satisfied them, but they still wondered why there were a lot of dogs around town that looked like them. Charley wouldn't tell them, and the subject just made Raven storm out of the house, so they gave up and went with Charley's answer that it was a coincidence.

Charley one day came home with a little red female pup, a little younger then the trio. Charley explained that the pup, Faline, would be living with them now, and the trio warmly accepted her and showed her around while Raven and Charley got in another fight about something. The trio told Faline it happened a lot.

The trio, now a quartet, hit off and were very close, while Raven was around even less. The trio noticed Raven's open hostility towards Faline, treating the little female even worse then she treated the trio. Cardinal boldly asked about it, but Raven snapped(with teeth, not words) at him and the four agreed never to ask again.

As the quartet got older, Faline started hanging out in town more, and Jobi, curious, followed her one day. She was surprised to find Faline talking to so many males. Or, trying to. Faline would start, then end up fleeing. When Faline got home that night, Jobi, Chava, and Cardinal asked her what she had been doing. Faline explained how she was trying to impress her birth mother by acting like her, and while the trio were concerned, after Faline begged them not to tell Charley in fear she'd hurt her somehow, the trio agreed to keep Faline's town walks a secret. Cardinal worried the most about Faline walking around town alone. The rumors that started spreading around about Faline didn't help ease his mind, and only ticked him off. He'd snap at anyone he heard talking about Faline, especially males.

Sometime later, Charley met Cavan, a black male, and Charley fell in love with him. The quartet approved highly of him, and they got along well with him.

Other: His red color comes from his grandmother(Charley's mom). He's got his dad's size, so he's fairly big.

Relation to Balto: His father's mate is infuriated with Balto's son, and he lives with a pup who's mother had a fling with Steele
