History:

He was the eldest in a litter of five. He was also favored by his owner, a rich purebreed hunting dog breeder. His owner made Whitt the "Breeder's Choice" (That means he was the most expensive pup, if some one was willing to buy him.) All of his siblings were sold and Whitt remained with his rich owner. He lived in the pampered life until he was 4 months old. Then a poor man showed up one day, he spent all the money he had to buy Whitt. The pampered pup was thrown into the life of a working dog. His new owner had two children, a twelve year old daughter who always tried to put bows in his fur and when he would nip at her she kicked him, and a seventeen year old son who worked as a hunter. Whitt became his canine partner. Whitt was a very good hunting dog, at first he hunted ducks, deer, rabbits, smaller creatures. One day though when his owner took Whitt hunting with another man, they were attacked by a bear. Whitt was brave enough to fight off the bear and win. The other man offered Whitt's owner a chance to put his dog on a bear hunting team, and so he did. Whitt loved his job while in town one day after a hunt he met his old rich owner again. The man asked if he was being bred, when his owner said no the man allowed him to breed with another female Toller. Whitt was now a year old but didn't even bother to learn this female's name. They hated each other but Whitt took advantage of her while she was sleeping one night. And when the pups were born Whitt's owner got half of the money and decided to make his prized bear hunter a Breeder on the side.
