Name: Reid
Age: About a year old than Chitto

Personality: Quite motherly and warm. She's caring, loving and hard-working and doesn't hesitate to help others. She knows her limits but often ignores them, which ends up with her straining herself too much. She tries to be as helpful as she can but doesn't realise that sometimes she's doing too much.
History: She doesn't remember her parents well. Her mother was a wolf and her father a husky. All she can remember from her childhood is that her family were often shunned and spent a lot of time travelling alone. She isn't sure what happened to her parents after that. She lived by herself and on a hunting trip she crashed into a tree and broke her front leg. She was found by an older wolf named Shilah who took it upon himself to care for her. She was touched by this and quickly fell in love with him. When his 'brother' (Chitto)appeared she promised that if she was allowed to stay with them she would be no trouble and stay out of their way. They both agreed to have her along and they became their own pack. She later became pregnant with Shilah's pups but shortly before they were due to arrive Shilah fell ill and they were attacked by a lynx. Shilah fought but was overpowered due to being ill and was killed. Chitto killed the lynx and was there to see Reid having her pups. Only one survived and she named him Shilah after his father. Chitto then became extremely protective over her and her son and they eventually became mates and had their own litter of pups.
Relation to Balto: Her son travels to Nome after his death and meets Rosewood (the great-grandaughter of Steele) and Basil (the great-great-grandson of Steele)
