General Information-

Name: Dallas

Age: pup-teen

Breed: Border Collie/ Rough Collie/ Saluki/ Afghan Hound

Likes: The Spring, swimming, peaceful places, others who actually try to understand him, Flann and Abi's pup (Esta), Pamiruq, watching sled races, singing < 3, bird-watching (yus :3)

Dislikes: Blizzards, very hot weather, huge crowds, not being understood, his parents, his elder siblings, Levi, most humans, puppies and children.

Personality: Dallas is an incredibly quiet guy who keeps himself to himself. He grew up being ignored, so got used to being silent but actually grew with a fear of talking in public (selective mutism.) He's generally very peacful, going to quiet places alone just to think. However, he never discusses his thoughts, mainly because it's hopes and dreams which he thinks others laugh at him for having. In addition to this, he can be incredibly self-contious and gets easily embarrassed, yet also gets easily angered. He likes to get away from town from time to time, and likes to sing while watching the birds as he knows no one would be around him.

Relationships:

Bracken + Yvette- Honestly? It's awful. Dallas was born unexpectedly, so his parents were more concerned about Dallas' older siblings going out into the world and the crushes and possible mates they were getting. Many who undertsand Dallas blame his parents for the way he is. Dallas doesn't meet up with his parents now he has left his home, and tends to give them a dissapproving scowl when he sees them around.

Ludwig + Yasmine- Just as bad of a relationship as the one he has with his parents. He despises his siblings for no fault of their own, but because their parents were always to busy for Dallas because of them. It didn't help that none of them undertood his Selective Mutism either.

Esta (Flann + Abi's pup)- Esta could be considered as Dallas'  best friend as she does understand his past and his 'disorder.' She's one of the only two dogs Dallas has ever said a word too, and Dallas does trust her more than anyone. Whether anything happens between them is secret for now.

Pamiruq- The other one of two dogs that Dallas has ever spoken too. Pamiruq also understands Dallas' situation and respects his silent ways. However, Pamiruq does get annoyed sometimes, as he's the sort of guy who doesn't like awkward silences.

Levi- Nothing much. Levi is the one who tries to force Dallas to talk though, so (putting it bluntly) Dallas hates his guts.

Sylvie- Although she is his grandma, Dallas actually sees Sylvie as his 'mother figure.' Sylvie was the one who taught him about life, and didn't force him to speak if he didn't want to.

History-

Dallas was born very late on in his parents life. He was born around the same time as Balto's great- great grandchildren wold have been born. His parentd were far to busy trying to get their elderst children to stop growing up and persuade them away from having mates to early. All through his puppy hood Dallas was completely ignored, and when his parents actually did talk to him, he didn't respond as he was scared of their reactions (when Dallas was very young and when he did talk, his parents usually told him to 'be quiet' for some reason or another.) Dallas went to his grandmother, Sylvie for attention usually, but even she couldn't get a wordout of him.

When Dallas eventually left home, the world outside his house was just as bad as it was in his house. It seemed no one really understood the concept of Selective Mutism and out of the dogs he met, they all seemed to be either loud and bubbly or darn right flirty. Dallas was given an especially hard time by Levi, who made was very pushy, always trying to get him to speak. However, Dallas then met Esta, a pretty young dog who approached him at a sled race. Esta made very small conversation, and the two ended up walking around town together. Esta's 'female charm' (as she called it) seemed to work on Dallas, because he ended up telling her about his past as about his parents. But of course, he didn't say much after that. Dallas trusted Esta more than anyone, he knew she understood him.

Other-

As my character: Dallas is based off Jojo, the character from 'Horton Hear's a Who.' I loved how quiet Jojo was and notcied there aren't any characters on here with selective mutsim (as far as I'm aware.)

Voice/ Singing Voice: Jesse McCartney (Also voiced Jojo.)

Small Point :3- Don't complain because he has 'bangs' or hair or whatever. He only has them because of the Afghan Hound in him c;

Relation to Balto: Has a good bond with Sylvie, who is his grandmother.
