Name: Evalin

Gender: Female
Age: 2 Years Old
Breed: 2/3 Husky, 1/3 Border Collie.
Personality: Pretty quiet, most of the time, but she isn't shy. She hates fighting, and is usually scared of violence. Eva is a very sweet, caring girl, and she loves making friends. She can be impatient at times, and when she is, she might snap or growl at you. She is very protective of her friends. She hates bullies and snooty dogs. She is very curious about the mountains, since she has never been there.
History: Used to live in California, but her owner died of cancer, so a woman adopted her, and took her to Alaska. Her new owner had long black hair, glasses and blue eyes. Eva was amazed by how much snow there was in Nome. In fact, she had never seen snow before. Her owner had an apartment, and let Evalin sleep on the edge of her bed, or on the couch. Eva usually slept on the bed, though.
One day, she went to explore the woods. She accidently encountered a bear, and she didn't know whether to run, hide, or stand her ground. The bear lashed out at her with it's claws, and she regretted not running or hiding. Someone shoved her out of the way of it's claws, though, and she fell into the snow a yard away. A white wolf backed away just in time as the bear's claws scored the snow where he had been standing seconds ago. The wolf told her to get out of here, and she obeyed. She ran away as fast as she could, but she ended up tripping on a patch of slippery snow. She lay in the snow, trying to catch her breath, and she staggered back up to her paws, feeling shaky. She looked back in the direction from where she had came from. She wondered guiltily if the wolf would make it. She ran back, this time avoiding the slippery patches of icy snow, and saw in the distance the bear again. It was roaring at something, and when she got closer, she saw that the wolf was still there. He looked tired and frustrated, biting the bear's paw whenever it came too close. Blood stained his fur, and drops of scarlet fell to the ground.
Eva ran towards the bear from the back. It never noticed her, and she bit down hard on it's left foot. It let out a roar, and it spun around, sending Evalin flying into the snow near the wolf. She scrambled to her paws. The bear lashed at her with it's paw. She jumped away, but one of the claws cut her leg. She yelped, falling down, and struggled to stand up again. The bear, however, seemed to get bored, and it lumbered off. The wolf approached her cautiously. "Are you okay? I thought I told you to get out of here." He said, frowning. Eva looked down. "You looked really tired, so I wanted to try and help." She whimpered, looking up at the wolf with puppy eyes. "Who are you?" She asked. The wolf flicked his tail. "I'm Samurai....er, thanks for the help." He muttered. Evalin stood up, even though the pain in her leg made her want to scream and lay back down. "No problem. I'm Evalin, you can call me Eva, though." She wagged her tail slowly. "Nice to meet you, Samurai." She added. "Uh, yeah, nice to meet you too." He said, looking embarrassed. "Hey, could we be friends?" She asked suddenly. "You seem like a nice wolf." Samurai looked at her in surprise. "Friends?" He echoed. "Sure, if you want." He shrugged. Eva jumped up a little(even though it hurt her leg) and gave a happy bark. "Great!" and she knocked him over with a little push. "You seem happy...but don't you think you should get your owner to look at that leg?" He asked. Evalin flinched. "Your right. Well, I hope I see you later!" She said, and she limped back to her owner's house.
Eva developed a crush on Samurai after a few weeks, but she hasn't told him anything yet. She just hopes he feels the same way, too.
