Personalty: Generally kind and sweet, but determined to do things herself, a result from being pampered her whole life. She strives to prove she's not as helpless and meek as everyone thinks. She often speaks out against things she disagrees with, much to her parents dismay. She firmly believes in loyalty, which makes her a very bad liar.

History:

With her parents being considered a rare breed, Opal's owners pampered and spoiled them. When Opal and her siblings were born, the owners sold the rest of the litter for high price, but kept Opal for breeding. Opal quickly grew bored of having everything done for her, and being looked at as a snob by other dogs. Her owners, meanwhile, kept looking for a male to breed her with. During one meeting with a possible breeding SSS male, Opal noticed very slight differences between the male and herself. She first dismissed it as she was female, and younger, but she then compared herself to her parents. She noticed that the only thing she and her father had in common was their brown coats, but she didn't look much like her mother either. Thinking it just meant she looked like a grandparent or someone father back in  the lineage, she decided to ask her mother. It was then her mother reveled that Cyan wasn't her father at all, and that Opal's father had been a wolf. Startled, and shocked that her mother made her swear not to tell Cyan, Opal started to grow curious of her wolf side, but her mother wouldn't speak another word about her real father. Dismayed and growing irritated of being treated like a glass doll, Opal started sneaking out late at night, having dug a hole under the fence, and venture out into the forest nearby. She never went too far in, as curious as she was, she was also frightened, having heard tales of the vicious wolves from town dogs and her parents. She still yearned to follow the wolf side of her, but she couldn't bring herself to go any further into the woods.

Her owners, meanwhile, having failed at finding a purebred SSS male to breed Opal to (since the breed was so few), decided to start looking into other breeds, hoping to start a new and better breed with opal's pups. Opal quickly grew sick of hearing how she would "be a key" in creating a new generation of sleddog, and became rather short tempered when the subject was brought up. Her owners finally found a male they thought suitable, a son of a champion race dog, and quickly began making arrangements to buy him. Cyan and Sheyrl were excited as well and told Opal. However, when Opal heard who the male was, she was disgusted. She'd seen the male around town and met him before, and she hated him with a passion. When she tried to explain to her parents, they said she was being ridiculous and should be honored. Shocked and distraught that her parents saw her as nothing more then a heir to their bloodline, Opal ran off, blindly running into the woods. When she stopped, she saw she had no clue where she was. After wandering around trying to find a way out, she came across a wolf in a clearing.
