Adopted the design off Lone, thank you 8D (Body Picture (c) Lone)
Name: Neida (Meaning 'grace' or 'favour' in Finnish)
Age: 4 years old
Gender: Female
Breed: Pitbull/ Border Collie (She's the average height of a BC)
Mate: Saxon (c) me
Crush: Saxon
Personality: Neida is a very calm, collected young lady who is generally very mature for her age. She was never really close with most of her family, but was definitely the little 'daddy's girl' in the first litter. Neida tended to be very crude to her other siblings; being the first-born, she sometimes saw herself as higher than the rest of them, but if she upset any of her sibs she always felt terrible afterwards and would apologise. When it comes to males Neida likes to have a little fun and is the sort of female who likes to torment and play 'hard to get' (which Saxon finds charming in an annoying way.) She can be a bit of a flirt sometimes but she does know where to draw the line. Neida also has a very strong finnish accent which she grew up with.
History: Neida was born in Finland along with her two other siblings. During the time she spent with her family, it was clear she didn't really like her mother and siblings, but she had a big soft spot for her father. At 12 weeks old, Neida's owner became fed up of the pups costant chewing on furniture and decided to sell them. Neida was sold to 50 year old man whose previous dog had been killed by a bear a few months before. The man actually lived in Nenana, Alaska and had travelled to Finland to visit his wife and children. (Neida's new owner worked in Alaska most of the time.) Neida was taken very far away from her family and the world she knew, but it didn't seem to faze her; she was very happy to be moving.
When Neida and her owner arrived back in Nenana, Neida's training as a hunting dog started immediately. As time went on, Neida became an incredible hunter as her sense of smell was fantastic, and her owner was very pleased with her out-come.
One day when Neida was 3 years old, her owner went back to Finland to visit his family but didn't take Neida with him. Neida felt fine about being left, as she presumed it would only be a matter of weeks before he returned but she was very wrong. He didn't return to her after 3 months. Neida had eaten every morsel in the house that she could find, and ran out. Out of desperation and loss of hope, Neida decided to escape her home, and live a life of freedom. She could use her skills to hunt and the thought of freedom and independence excited her. She wandered off into the forest which surrounded what was her master's house. After a successful hunt, Neida was well fed with about half a duck inside her. She layed herself piecefully beside the half-eaten carcuss and fell asleep, exhausted after chasing her prey. Neida was soon awoken when she felt the half-eaten carcuss infront of her moving further and further away. She jumped to her feet with a snarl on her face and was shocked (and slightly frightened) to see a large, male gray wolf standing infront of her with a rather guilty look on his face. He apologised over and over again, then explained that he had been banished from his pack after making a move on the alpha female, who he had a great soft spot for (the female was infact Aleu.) Neida felt bad for snarling at him when he was in a bad situation, and being one to not bare a grudge with others (especially rather handsome ones) she allowed him to eat. Over time the two became very close, and Neida's act of kindness to the wolf (Saxon) lead to them being mates.
Future: Neida and Saxon stay together alone in the forest for the rest of their lives, but narrowly avoid a brush up with Aleu's pack. Neida and Saxon eventually mate, but when a female from Saxon's previous pack approaches him on a hunt, she starts to try and seduce him and take him away from Neida and his non-born pups.
Realtion to Balto: Neida's mate Saxon was a member of Aleu's pack before he was banished.
