History: Forest was always the sweet little pup that never left her mother's side. She lived with her mother for a year when she had to depart. Her mother was shot and killed. Forest had to leave. She traveled night and day. She lived off of mice, burds, and is she was lucky, a rotten caribou. Then she got a surprise oneday.

She smelled caribou. At first she thought it was alive. But then she smelled death. It hadn't been dead for long. Maybe 10 minutes. She was nervous, it was still warm. Other wolves had to be around. She tore into it. Suddenly she heard pawsteps. She was scared but she had to defend her a.caribou. She whirled, snarling and growling. A brown wolf w, with a white face was looking at her with surprise. He just stared at her. He took in her jutting ribs and scrawny coat. He opened his mouth and spoke. "Do you need a place to stay?" he asked. "Yes." she replied.

Forest grew fatter and became a healthy size. Her and Durango fell in love and became mates. For 6 months evrything was peaceful. Then everything went wrong.

Icedrop, a son of Steele, was taunting Durango. He attacked him and killed him. He was banished from Nome and Forest left with him. She is heavily pregnant and they are trying to cross the mountains in wintertime. Forest has given up all hope. She wishes Durango would too. That they could just lay down and die together. Everyday she says she wants to end her life. She doesn't reealize how much she is hurting Durango.

Then Durango was killed in a freak accident. He had wandered across a bull moose. The moose charged, and gored him in the side. Durango bled to death, leaving Forest alone and heartbroken. Her pups freezed to death, and she gave birth to them. They were stillborn.

She evetnually wandered onto Matsuko's pack territory. She was invited into the pack with open arms, and became a baby sitter.
