Personality: She is afraid of nothing. She is petulant and irascible. She is ribald, ruthless, irreverent, heinous, quarrelsome, and can seem diabolic. She is far worse than Steele, and has been compared to a lynx in attitude. She gets into fights often, but never with Freddie. She can be scathingly sarcastic, and does not care if she offends or hurts anyone, other than Freddie. She is very fond and protective of Freddie, and has eyes only for him.

History: She was born in 1922 in a cabin in the forest near Nome. She often fought and argued with her siblings. When the time came for them to be adopted, her sibs were afraid of her, so afraid they were glad to be away from her. Lynx stayed back at the cabin. When she was a year old, she always wanted to fight. One day when she was out in the woods exploring, she happened upon a lynx and decided to fight it. Though it was more powerful than her, and much bigger, Lynx (the dog) won and nearly injured the lynx, which loped back into the woods, snarling. Lynx had been struck many times by the lynx during the fight, and was also thrown against a tree multiple times, breaking some bones in her back and ribs, and many scars. When she made it back to the cabin, her owner was in disbelief at how injured and bloody she was. She was also having trouble breathing. Luckily, the owner was a retired veterinarian who kept some medical supplies just in case something like this happened. He cleaned her wounds. Over time, her broken bones mostly healed, but they still hurt from time to time. She was taken into Nome just in case more treatment was needed. It wasn't. She soon became the most feared dog in town, fighting and injuring others who dared say one word about her. Even Steele feared her. Lynx liked it that way. She likes to make his and anyone else's life miserable (except for her mate Freddie). She bosses others around (and enjoys it), and does not take no for an answer. Either you do what she says or you get hurt. She has critically injured several dogs who dared say no to her. The only one she is ever nice to is Freddie.
