Name: Hondo
Nicknames:~
Sex: Male
Age: 3 years
Breed: Timber wolf and Akita cross
Personality: He's pretty headstrong at times, he loves making new friends and meeting old ones. Hondo HATES HUNTING DOGS and he'll do anything to keep away from them. He can act a bit puppy-like at times and be a really bad pain in the you-know-what when he's pretty hyper (and now he doesn't get hyper off of chocolate or caffeine; its just in his nature 0_o) Even though he acts really big and bad at times, its really to cover up his scary, timid, and simi-weak attitude.

History: Hondo was abandoned by his family when he was only a pup. He was forced to survive on his own; and the young pup grew into a feirce-looking predator. But all was pretty nice for nice for him until he was chased out of his territory by a pack of wolfhounds. Hondo really didn't mind outsmarting the dogs but the only problem was that the wolfhounds ran extremely fast and caught up with the mix breed in no time and cornered him against the base of a cliff. The dogs slowly closed in on poor Hondo and the wolf-dog fought for hs life. Hondo managed to kill half of the dogs, escaping with only a few of them on his tail as he made a beeline straight for Nome's forests. The halfbreed came to a deep, water-filled trench in the ground and the dogs lost his scent there. After a few bone-chilling hours in knee deep water, Hondo finally guessed that it was safe to come out; and once he stiffly climbed to the trench's bank, he was face-to-face with a lage, powerful looking grayish dog. The two screamed in horror and suprisement at how fast they looked each other in the eye, and poor unlucky Hondo fell back into the trench. The other dog peered down and asked if he was Ok, receiving a painful 'yes' from the wolf-dog. Hondo, who had landed crookedly on his left fore leg, tried to stand but the pain in his shoulder only made him yelp in pain.
"You're hurt!" was the sharp reply of the dog on the bank, who looked at Hondo with concern burning in her eyes. She quickly darted down to mutt in hleped him onto a simi-sandy area near the bank and licked his hurt shoulder. After a while the she-dog introduced herself as Chickadee, one of the other four pups born in her same litter. Hondo said that he didn't known his parents and that he was a bandoned at birth; which caused Chicadee to gasp that Hondo's life must'ev been pretty hard. But Hondo reassured her that it really wasn't and he occasionaly visited his older 'brother' Bat, who lived in Nome. "I'd love to go visit him right now," the wolf-dog said. "But, since I can't move so good....I guess being stuck her with you isn't such a bad idea, hum?" Beside him, Chicadee blushed and lighty ran her toung over Hondo's face. The two spent a few more days on the sandbank until Hondo was able to walk straight again. Before he left, Hondo asked Chickadee if he'd ever be able to see her again, and she replied that they'ed probely see each other around Nome because she lived in town.
