History: As a puppy Joli was playful and exuberant. She was adopted by a strict elderly woman who wanted to put her to use as a breeding and show-dog. Unfortunately Joli’s personality didn’t match up to the judges expectations, so her owner became very ashamed and sold her. Joli was hurt and began to become less happy and playful and more to what she thought the perfect show-dog would be like. So Joli changed completely. She made herself popular friends, not because she liked them, but because she wanted to be liked. One day, all her friends went off to the boiler room. Joli didn’t want to; she heard stories of females being abused by mix-bred males, but she didn’t want to feel left out. It was late when they all left but Joli slept there and was indeed abused.
Joli stayed away from her friends until she gave birth to a puppy, but left it on the streets before her friends found out. She didn’t want a puppy interfering with her life and it was a mutt as well. Joli grew to be very sad about it, especially when the puppy approached her and she turned it away. Joli was driven mad by it and stayed at her home, blocking out all friends until she died.
