 personality-  he's really sweet, very friendly but also excellent fighter, though he is mates with a wolf, he loves her and sees nothing wrong with mixing their breeds, and would give his life for her or his pups.can be really loving and sweet, as long as you dont get him up before sunrise

 history :

 The is the son of  the nicest dogs in town, but because he was the only survivor of four pups,(not to mention the runt of them) his parents were extremely careful about what he could do and who he could be with. when he was a year old, he became interested in running. Finally, after swearing that if he thought a run would be too dangerous he would leave, he convinced his parents to let him try to run a sledding race.  He had always been very strong and fast, but when he ran the race and ran against Steet, Steele's father, and won first place, he became a type of celebrity, and all of Nome knew him.  One day when racing himself in the woods, Aniu, The Great White Wolf, Goddess of ALL Wolves watched him. As they introduced themselves, they discoved many same qualities in each other. Many weeks passed of each getting to know each other until Aniu showed him her world- a large colony of wolves which she ruled over personaly.  As he got to know her and her clan, he became familiar with the wolf ways, soon realizing that everything dogs know about wolves is wrong. He visits her Clan, the Snowcap Kingdom often,  becoming her mate after a few months time. In doing so, he becomes royalty, for as she is Goddess, he is king.

Celebration comes instantly. And when Airekanes' parents go looking for him one day and find him there, his loyalty is questioned among dogs.   His parents are not pleased with his mate nor his title, but they go along with it anyway, knowing that what's done is done.  Not too long after their sons' life becomes complete  with the joy of eight puppies, and Balto (Balcorra as the Royal Name) is  destined for rule. Arlysse and Arlynkane visit often, living most of their lives in the kingdom. They live in happieness, learning how to be royal and such until one day, right as Airekane is entering the Clan, he sees Aniu shoot past him and cover Balto just as a hunter aims and fires.

With the death of his mate, Airekane now cares full time for his pups, who are but two months old, and all are in horror at the loss of their mother.  Balto is of course taking it the hardest, blaming himself for her death. Soon after, only three days later, Steet arrives with his small son Steele. Steet grabs Balto by the scruff and throws him hard. Airekane comes out of the cave and jumps for Steet, tumbling over and over, snarls and growls filling the air. After about ten minutes, Steet was dead. Balto rushed to his father, but Airekane collapsed, having only enough time to say he loved him and to take good care of his siblings. Then, Airekane also died, leaving Balto on his own.
