Personality: A no nonsense, bold, and extremely proud survivor who -like her name suggests- is more then she appears to be. Up until the time she meets Ewan, she was generally an unlikable dog: She was bitter, she had a biting attitude, with an aloof air that drove most potential friends away. She stayed that way until she met Ewan, and after a serise of events, she grew to understand that SHE was the one who had the problem, not everyone else. Since becoming Ewan's mate, Mirage has softened up considerably, but still finds that old habits are hard to kill, and will occasionally lapse back into her old attitude. 

Likes: Action, teaching, showing off, Ewan's eyes, messing with the minds of drunk dogs at Eagle Tavern.

Dislikes: Comet's ever running mouth, idleness, admiting she's wrong, losing.

Character Bio: Under constuction!

As my Character: Mirage first came about when I was thinking late at night about a comment that a fellow Balto Source member had posted: "Will Ewan ever have a mate?" I wondered if that was a good idea, and slowly the idea appealed to me. I figured that since opposites often attract, I would find someone who would be perfect for him and yet not display how 'perfect' they were for each other in the story. After all, wouldn't it be strange to have a police dog be mates with a dog who started out as an acomplished criminal? Thus, Mirage was born.

Mirage is almost akin to an antihero; she has a lot of flaws and is constantly at war with herself in terms of "What the right thing to do is, and what the SMART thing to do is." She's got an attitude and a huge sense of pride that she uses as a shield to hide her true colors, and often likes to frustrate others by being as evasive and annoying as possible in a conversation just for the fun of it.
