Ashamed of his daughter being half wolf, Gunner left Natika alone to fend for Rhya alone after two months of living with his daughter. As Rhya grew older, she didn't have really anyone to turn to but her mother. Being her only companion, Natika tried her hardest to teach Rhya the ways of living.

A season later, Natika was tracked down by hunters, shot and killed. Rhya never knew what really happened to her mother.Alone and afraid, Rhya made her way into a little town called Nome.Being half dog, people thought of her as full husky, never thinking she was a wolf at all. She was put up for adoption and soon an old woman bought her when she was about 6 months old.

Rhya soon grew older and about five months later, the older women died of a heart attack. Rhya was placed in a pound and soon was adopted by a little girl named Stephanie. She now lives with Stephanie and walks the streets when not with her girl.
