Personality: Bailey appears to be a strong, brave male who is fearless. However, if a female (one who he likes) says something to him in a sarcastic way, he will take it seriously, and he goes into an akward silence. He appears very shy in moments like these. When he tries to impress someone, he acts very smooth and charming, and he is both of those things, just not if they say something which he would take as offensive.

History: BJ was born in South Dakota at a popular Harrier breeder's home. He was one of a huge litter of 12. Because of this, no puppies really got enough milk because their poor mother wasn't very experienced, and some of the stronger puppies got more milk and became even stronger. Bailey, unfortuantly, wasn't one of the strongest ones. His mother saw him, however, as a brave little soul and she did favour him and a couple of his other sibs.

BJ was bought by a man who wanted a different breed after breeding lhasa apso's for most of his life. The man seemed to struggle when trying to cope with his energy, but didn't give up on him. The two of them moved to Nome when Bailey was 12 months old because Bailey's owner wanted to live somewhere with more dogs around (he certainly picked the right place xD) for BJ to meet so he would become more sociable. Bailey was very good at making friends, and he befriended Bracken, a dog who was about a year olders than him. However, poor Bailey lost nearly all his confidence with females after meeting Tessa. She intimidated him and offended him with sarcastic comments. She was very flirty and rude. Poor Bailey gained a very shy personality around females now, and although he may appear confident around a female at first, if she says something in a sarcastic manner, he tends to take it seriously and will turn very shy, and will usually walk away, embarassed and upset.

One day, while walking by the beach, Bailey saw a young female called Yee walking with her brother and sister, Lim and Dia. Bailey thought he would approach them, he liked the look of the brown female and he thought he could be friends with the others. He walked up to the three dogs and said hi. They all stared at him for about 2 seconds, then Yee, the brown female, found the courage to reply. "So, uuuhh, you new here?"  she said. Bailey replied " Sorta, me and my owner came here from South Dakota a couple of weeks ago." Dia and Lim rolled their eyes as the two were in deep conversation. Bailey could sense that Lim, who appeared very prim and proper , didn't like him talking to his sister and so Bailey said goodbye and walked away. Yee looked rather dissapointed and Bailey felt saddened. He rather liked her in a way he had never felt about a female before.

Relation to Balto: He has a crush on Kaltag's grandaughter, Yee.
