Relation to Balto:He was once an apprentice to Nava.
Background:Nex lost his parents in A severe avalanche,making him responsible for his younger sister,Shisa.
Shisa always got into trouble,making Nex grow overprotective of her by giving her boundaries on where she could go,how long she could stay out,etc.
At sometime,he became Nava's apprentice and began learning ways to become wiser and stronger. But,after several situations involving Shisa disobeying his orders,he quit so he could look after her more.
Nex only does what he does because he loves Shisa and dosen't want her to suffer the same fate as their parents.
