History:  Born in a loving home in Canada, he was adopted by a couple with kids who simply adored him. He had a very good life for the first couple of months, until his family moved to the Yukon Territory in Canada. In the confusion of the move, Pilot was left unattended in the family's new front yard and was picked right off the lawn by a mysterious man. Of course Pilot didn't care, he thought the man was helping him, but the man turned out to be working for a lab and needed a shepherd dog. Pilot is taken to the illegal lab and befriends Galileo, Trigg and Ridge. He sort of becomes Ridge's apprentice/ adopted pup.

When the dogs finally escape, they are taken in by a shelter and all are brought to a farm in the middle of nowhere where they learn to herd cattle. A dog named Loki is already there and later on, Nimbin also is brought to the farm to herd. He later becomes good friends with his neighbor, Saphrina as well.
