Personality: She is very outspoken, yet often moody. She easily gets distracted by the negative sides of things, when the bright side is right in front of her face.

 Two years after she was born, a hunter and his dog killed both of her parents. Her and her sister, Aniu, were both left alone, lost in the wilderness, for quite a while. Until one day, they were both found, buried in snow in a forest, by a pack of wolves led by Nava, a friend of their parents. he offered to give them shelter, and feed them. Aniu was eagerly wanting to live with them, though Qannik refused. She was too broken to live a new life with this unknown wolf. So eventually, Nava and his pack took only Aniu with them, while Qannik stayed in the wilderness.
Two years later, now, Qannik has found a mate, and is living as the alpha female of her own pack.
Though her memory of Aniu and her parents is faint, she will still never forget them.

Relation to Balto: Qannik is Aniu's sister, and she is Balto's aunt.
