An article born from a rant. If you think the blue-eyed pup is Saba and the red-faced pup is named Juanito cuz it said so on Wikipedia, think again.

Lately there's been a lot of HOOHAH about 'WHICH
PUP IS WHICH!?' in Balto 2: Wolf Quest... well, I'd ask 'DOES IT MATTER!?' but apparently it does The arguments or 'discussions' I've seen have been about which pup is Saba, which one is Dingo, which one's Kodi, what's the red-faced pup's name, what's the red-and-white-Aleu-twin's name? Its been going ON and ON like this FOREVER and this is why I'm contemplating about where to put this topic.



First off, 'WHICH PUP IS SABA!?' Most people have argued that this pup is Saba and the pup in the picture below is Dingo, according to the ending credits of the movie
(because in the credits, they often have characters in the order in
which they speak and 'Dingo' spoke first) There's your 'Saba is
blue-eyed' proof.




 

 



HOWEVER, people often argue that this pup



 




is Dingo because in WQ, Dingo was the first to be adopted (we know this because Jenna says after a child picks up A pup, 'I know that human. He'll be a good boy for Dingo.') And as you can see in this next scene, the red Aleu twin is no longer in the box.



 





That fact would also say that
Dingo was 'blue-eyed' because every pup in that pic (with the exception
of Aleu) has brown (well, dark-colored) eyes and has dark-colored eyes
from that part of the scene to the end of that scene where all of the pups are adopted.



HOWEVER, later in that scene our 'Dingo' has returned and again, all of the visible pups have brown eyes.



 





So that can also conclude that 'Dingo' has blue eyes (even though, we can clearly see
that 'Aleu's twin' is no longer blue-eyed like it is in the previous
picture of it, but if it were still blue-eyed in that scene, we would
be able to see it as clearly as Aleu's in any other scene, no?).



SO, with all of those brown-eyed Jenna clones, how can people possibly
say which pup is Kodi? Well, people have officially dubbed this pup



Kodi, for quite silly reasons (personally): to use in their music
videos about Kodi or just because Kodi is their favorite character and
they want him to be more than a lame cameo.



So, we 'know' (or rather DON'T know) who Aleu (hopefully), Kodi, Dingo, and
Saba are...Then who the heck are the other two!? The only ones left is
the one not dubbed Dingo and this 'red-faced' pup!



 




People have argued that the 'red-faced' pup and 'Aleu's twin' are
'Denali' and 'Yukon.' But as you could see in the previous pictures,
with so much INCONSISTENCY in this movie, AND that their names were NEVERONCEMENTIONEDin any of the three Balto movies, how can you even say for a FACT those
are what the pups' names are??? You can't. Because:



1) They never once SPOKE (sighs of relief and barking don't count) so their names were NEVER in the credits.



2) Wikipedia is the most-believed lie on the face of the interweb. That is a site where people can just go in an edit an article about anything they want. So if a fan decides to do an article on Steele saying he's a klee kai, no matter how UNTRUE it is, they can do it because it's just that easy. (Words of Wisdom: so if you're looking for absolute carved-in-stone FACTS, do not trust what Wikipedia says.)



3) Those two, along
with 'Kiona' and 'Dakota' and all of THESE OTHER fan characters or THESE (OMG LOOK AT ALL THE DIFFERENT SABA'S!!! ) they're just made up ADULT versions of those characters, each with a
DIFFERENT background, each with DIFFERENT personalities, each CREATED
by DIFFERENT people. Its the same thing with Balto's father, Steele's
parents, Jenna's parents, Steele's mate, Balto's sister, Kaltag's
father's step-brother's cousin's former roommate!



So as soon as you see someone else's version of 'Dingo,' 'Saba,' 'the
red-faced pup,' 'Aleu's twin,' or 'Balto's other child,' just remember,
this is a FANDOM and NOTHING IS OFFICIAL! So take your 'This pup's name
is Pete because I read it somewhere' proof of 'fact' and stick it where
the sun don't shine.



In conclusion, Aleu is Aleu, and Kodi, Saba, Dingo, and the unnamed-pups are whoever you want them to be. Not whoever someone ELSE wants them to be. Since there is not going to be a Balto 4, it will be unknown forever what the unnamed-pups names are. I hope this article has OPENED SOME EYES and I hope there will be no more jack-squat about 'WHO'S DINGO!' etcetra.
