You decide to investigate. What's the harm in doing so? You cautiously walk up to the object, giving it a sniff. Strangely it had no scent. Not even an old trace of it. You prodded it with your paw, trying to flip it over. Suddenly flashing lights shown out of it and you were surrounded in what seemed to be a white shield. You shut your eyes and shook your head, trying to focus on what was happening. When you opened them again you weren't in a forest with a starry filled sky, but in a large field with the hot sun beating on your back. It was supposed to be the start of fall where you were with snow just starting to hopefully come in, and yet you were in the dead set of summer once again. Confused, you walked around throught he field a bit. You figured you were just dreaming, perhaps you fell asleep in the city and were dreaming about this the whole time. Being from the city, you tried to sniff out any scents of the city where you were at. Nothing. The only city smell you could find was coming from your own fur. You sighed and moved on, deciding to explore this unusual place after all. There were strangely more animals than usual in this forest, never like the forest by the city. Suddenly you catch a trace of human scent. Following it you manage to find a small human civilization with tents and horses. What is this place? You enter the camp and find it bustling with activity. There were people at work, children playing, and horses lazily grazing. You then spot a dog sitting a bit away from all of the action. Should you speak to him? |
