I begged her, I wanted her to stay with me
She didn't hear my words above the waves

The path I walked turned to violence
I wanted her to stay, and I was left behind
While she went to Heaven, I was alone

I was stuck in a living Hell without her
Without my glowing Halo I was another shadow
A man with no reason or hope to see her
Condemned to loneliness above and below

The waters calmed, the clouds left
Covering the night sky and blocking stars
Forever blocking my view of her radiance
Blocking her with mocking shadows from Hell

Never again, no chance to repent
No apology would win her back
No forgiveness to give me a clear path
Stumbling along the dark road alone

Without turning back I knew I lost
Knew once and for all I lost my Sister
