The triple k-9 trio

-Charlie? who's charlie?-

One day at the flea bite charlie and krypto were playing pool at charlies favorite pool table when all of a sudden itchy comes running.

itchy "charlie, krypto anabelle informed me to tell you that we have a mission to do"

charlie "what right now?"

itchy "yes charlie now"

charlie "well that's just great. and we were just about done with our pool game here too"

krypto "it's ok charlie. we can finish it up as soon as we get back from the mission"

charlie "oh all right. (sighs) so what's the mission this time?"

itchy "it's about trying to stop shadows next evil plan"

krypto "shadow? he's back?"

charlie "so what's shadow planning this time?"

itchy "anabelles not sure yet. but she said that as soon as she finds out then she would tell us"

charlie "ah come on now that could take a couple of hours. i'm going to go and find shadow right now and demand that he tells me what he is planning"

Then he leaves the flea bite as fast as he could.

itchy (sighs) "well krypto let's go and get charlie before he get's into a whole lot of trouble"

krypto "yeah i agree with you there itchy. come on let's go"

Then they run out of the flea bite and try to catch up with charlie.

But charlie was a few steps ahead of them.

He ran all over town trying to find shadow.

Just then a ray of darkness comes out of the sky and hits charlie in the head.

Then itchy and krypto find charlie layed out on the ground.

krypto "oh no itchy. charlies been knocked down. come on let's go and help him up"

Then they help charlie up.

itchy "are you all right charlie?"

charlie (shakes his head) "yeah i'm ok. but i have a few qustions. who's charlie? who are you two? and more importantly who am i?"

krypto "who are we? charlie are you feeling ok?"

charlie "i feel great"

itchy "but why do you want to know who we are?"

charlie "maybe that's beacuse i've never seen you guys before in my life"

itchy "oh boy this is bad this is very bad. uh krypto can i see you for a moment?"

krypto "sure itchy i'll be right there. (looks back at charlie) uh can you wait right here? i'm going to go see what he wants"

charlie "uh sure no problem"

Krypto then goes to itchy.

krypto "you wanted to see me itchy?"

itchy "yeah cause i think i know what's wrong with charlie"

krypto "you do?"

itchy "yeah. i think he's suffering from a bad case of amnesia"

krypto "amnesia? what's that?"

itchy "it's when you get hit in the head really hard. then you don't know who you or your friends are. and well anything else for that matter"

krypto "wow guess that's what charlie has all right. is there anyway to cure it?"

itchy "yes there is. we just got to jog up his memory piece by piece until he remembers everything again"

krypto "ok sounds like a plan to me. so what do we do with him first?"

itchy "why don't we take him back to the apartment right now. maybe we can start jogging his memory there"

Then they walk up to charlie.

itchy "allow me to introduce myself. my name is itchy"

charlie "nice to meet you itchy"

krypto "and my name is krypto"

charlie "nice to meet you too krypto"

itchy "and we are your friends"

charlie "oh really?"

krypto "yes charlie really"

itchy "and now we're going to take you to our apartment so we can try and make you remember who you are"

charlie "ah ok lead the way"

then charlie follows itchy and krypto to there apartment and they go inside.

when they got inside charlie had a suprising look on his face.

itchy "ok charlie we're home"

charlie (looks around the room) "we live here?"

krypto "yes charlie we do"

charlie "well no offense but this place looks like a dump"

itchy "why would you say that charlie?"

charlie "well look around. you have cans and bottles on one side of the room. a lot of paper on another side. and (sniffs around) eww a trash pile in the middle? how can you guys live with this junk here?"

krypto "well maybe it's beacuse you leave it here so you can roll in it everyday"

itchy "yeah. and not just roll in it but sleep in it too"

charlie "oh come on now. me roll and sleep in that junk there? yeah right"

krypto "oh but you do charlie. almost all the time"

charlie "well i don't belive you. not one bit. (looks at the pile) say uh itchy is it? have you ever tried to throw this junk outside to the trash cans?"

itchy "yes charlie about  hundreds of times. but everytime i do you always follow me and bring it back inside"

charlie "i do?"

krypto "yes charlie you do"

charlie "well i guess i can try and roll in it right now"

Then he jumps in the pile and rolls in it.

Then he gets out.

charlie "you know that felt great"

krypto "see charlie i told you that  you liked to roll in it"

charlie "well now i see why i didn't want this trash to be thrown away"

itchy "yeah i can see that too. (sneezes). well since we're all here i guess i better call anabelle so she can give us our mission now"

krypto "ok itchy go right ahead"

Then krypto goes and rolls in the junk pile and charlie joins him.

itchy "anabelle anabelle we're all here now. so you can give us that mission now"

Then anabelle appears on the tv which was turned off.

anabelle "oh i'm glad your all here. now to go ahead and give you that mission"

charlie (looks up and jumps out of the junk pile) "huh? who's there? who's saying that?"

itchy "why anabelle did charlie"

charlie "and just who or what is anabelle?"

itchy "she's over here on the tv. why don't you come over and see for yourself"

charlie "oh all right"

He then goes over to the tv, sees anabelle and screams.

charlie "a ghost! it's a ghost! run for your lives!"

Then he runs out of the apartment screaming louder.

krypto "charlie come back anabelles not a ghost. she's an angel. charlie? charlie?"

itchy (sighs) "guess we better go and get him and try to calm him down. come on krypto let's go"

krypto "ok let's go"

anabelle "wait i guess i can tell you two the mission. then you can go get charlie and tell him about it"

krypto "oh ok sounds like a good idea to me"

itchy "oh ok. so what's the mission this time anabelle?"

anabelle "it's about you guys stopping shadows next evil plan. he plans on blasting every dog in the whole town with a giant ray gun and give them all amnesia. and then rejog there memories so that they will become a part of his evil army"

krypto "wow now that's an evil plan"

anabelle "so your mission this time is to destroy the ray gun so shadow can't make his evil army of brain washed dogs"

itchy "ok anabelle we're on it"

krypto "but first let's go and get charlie so we can tell him about the mission"

itchy "oh yeah your right krypto. and we better tell him that anabelles not a ghost either"

anabelle "yeah i was wondering about that. why did charlie think i was a ghost anyway?"

itchy "ok i guess i better tell you the whole thing. you know how you told me this mourning about us having a mission?"

anabelle "uh huh"

itchy "and then i said that i'll go and get the others so they may know what the mission is too?"

anabelle "yes itchy"

itchy "well then i went  to the flea bite and found them playing pool. then i told them that the mission was about shadow. then charlie ran off to confront him about his evil plan before i could even finish my sentence"

krypto "so then we had to follow him so we could tell him to wait until we got back to the apartment so you could tell us what the mission was"

itchy "and when we found him he was layed out on ground unconscious. and when he got up he said that he didn't remember who we were or who he was"

anabelle "oh my! guess shadow tested his amnesia ray on charlie. maybe that's why he thought i was a ghost. you two better go and find him before shadow makes him a part oh his evil army"

krypto "ok we're on it. let's go itchy"

itchy "i'm right behind you krypto"

anabelle "wait before you two go i'm going to give you this miracle dog tag" 

she then gives itchy the dog tag and he puts it under his hat.

itchy "oh thanks anabelle cause we're going to need it"

krypto "yeah your right about that. well let's go now itchy so we can find charlie and tell him about the mission"

itchy "ok let's go. oh and anabelle don't you worry we're going to try and rejog charlies mission and then stop shadows evil plan. hey wait up krypto short legs here"

anabelle "good luck guys"

then she dissapears. then itchy
