History:
Not much is known about Chess, as he is always flitting from one dark alleyway to another. His thought process seems scrambled and mixed up, but he is cunning, able to manipulate others to play his game. He likes to switch sides to whatever perks his interest, though like any dog he can't resist a healthy milk-bone bribe.
Keeping an eye on the Barkin-against-Silencing relationship, he figured the two things would be nice to work for. He never tells about the other side, only caring about his own amusement. Though he does help whatever side he favors, he can be just as quick to join in on the other team. Whether he joins in with plans is his choice, and since he's a faster runner than most he can get away if anyone sees fit to eliminate him.
He hides his past the best he can, using an alias to keep himself protected from anyone looking for him. He sits in the grey area so he is neither trusted nor a traitor to anyone except whoever knew him before in his past. He skirts around any question about his life, opting instead to kick back and watch the fun unfold.
