He appears self-confident but inside is quite the opposite. He is self-destructive and hangdog.
History: He was born in Los Angeles in May of 1941. As a pup, his parents were abusive. They yelled, argued, and fought almost all the time, disagreed about everything, and the father constantly had affairs with others. He eventually deserted the mother and pups. The pups soon left to find their own way in life. Months later, when this one was about a year old, a Southern Pacific worker in the local railyard took him in, and since the yard was a little short on protection, the railroad took him in and put him in their training facility for guard dogs. This dog was named Espee Timothy, after the railroad's nickname, and a former company president named Timothy Guy Phelps. A couple years later when Espee had completed training, he was put out in the yard, and proved to be one of the best railroad police dogs they had. He was relentless when it came to catching trespassers or miscreants. He was so vicious he even bit a few railroad employees trying to put him back in his cage. When there weren't any criminals or trespassers to pursue, he sometimes slept in a boxcar whose door was either open or partway open. One day he unknowingly picked the wrong boxcar to sleep in. The freight train the car was part of was destined for San Francisco. En route, he ate mice that had made a little nest in one of the corners of the train car. When the train arrived in San Francisco, he patrolled the unfamiliar railyard there, and then set out to patrol the city. Some tried to make friends with this stranger, but he was rude and always refused. Now that he was in this new place, he explored it some, also looking for wrongdoers and those he considered trespassers. Soon he was one of the most feared dogs in the city. Now, he has no friends, prefers not to. He is as vicious and unfeeling as ever, but someday he will learn the error of some of his ways. He will eventually change and be at least somewhat nicer to others. And also he will eventually fall in love with someone, but for now he has no-one because almost all dogs in town fear him. He never returns to the railroad. He secretly can't stand himself, and often goes to the Fleabite to drink and escape his troubles for hours on end. He's a juice-head, and that sometimes increases his temper. He's trying to change himself, but just cannot seem to.
Relation to ADGTH: lives in San Francisco, is a regular at the Fleabite
*Other - his collar is in the colors of the Southern Pacific RR's Daylight passenger train
