Features: light red fur instead of pink, large labrador ears, thin whippet build and tail

Sabella was not born in the usual way, but instead created purely from the combined powers of the hellhounds Belladonna and Nightshade.  
Her "mother" Belladonna was imprisoned in hell, having caused so much destruction on earth.  She crossed a whole new line of evil when she started taking the souls of newly deceased dogs and bringing them to Hell instead of letting them enter Heaven. The dogs of heaven could not just sit back and let her go on with her sins any longer and Belladonna was sentenced to death; but her cousin, Anabelle, begged the other angelic dogs to spare her life and imprison her instead.
For years, Belladonna was unable to cause anymore chaos on earth, which made her very bored and very frustrated.  Belladonna teamed up with Nightshade, a dog she turned into a hellhound, and created Sabella, someone to do all of her earthly biddings.

To constantly remind her of her purpose, Belladonna placed a necklace/collar around Sabella's neck that could never be taken off, no matter what Sabella tried.
Also, Belladonna can sometimes appear in objects (as Anabelle does to Charlie), warning she's not very far from Sabella and that her daughter shouldn't ever try to get away from her.

Though Sabella was literally placed on earth to do bad, she wants nothing more than to be a good dog and do what is right.  Originally, Sabella was going to try and run from Belladonna and her sentence, lie low for the rest of her life, but instead Sabella found out about her Heavenly aunt, Anabelle, and decided to disobey her mother and no longer seek shelter for herself, but come up with a way to free the imprisoned dogs in Hell, one of which is her best friend, Kate. 

Sabella makes it to Heaven with the help of Charlie, Itchy and Sasha, who tell her Anabelle is her aunt.  While in Heaven, trying to come up with a plan to release the dogs from Belladonna's grip, Sabella learns that Charlie is hesitant to help her, still feeling hurt from helping and having to leave Anne Marie and David.
She also meets Fex, a spotted terrier mutt who died from unknown causes.  He instantly takes a liking to Sabella as a friend and eventually as a crush.  

Besides saving her best friend, Sabella wants nothing more than to get rid of her demon collar and earn a pair of angel wings.
