History: Mardi was born in New Orleans, during the Mardi Gras Festival, and that's where he got his name. He was a very wild pup, and Itchy had to babysit him almost all the time, just so he wouldn't get into trouble. When he was growing up, Mardi developed a love for jazz music, because it made him feel relaxed and down-to-earth. He wished he could some day play jazz like a professional, but he knew that would be impossible, because he was a dog. But when he turned 1 year old, Mardi met a young stray named Elvis, who had the same love for jazz as he did. Together, they decided to start working for their dream, and became best friends. Charlie always wanted Mardi to follow his foot steps, and start his own casino, but Mardi was only interested in playing jazz, and just partying all nigth. One night though Mardi found out about Charlie's criminal background, and became so upset that he ran away from home. He ran into Elvis, who wondered what was going on. Mardi told him what had happened, and that he never wanted to go back home again. Elvis understood how Mardi felt, because he once had ran away from home too, and Mardi told Elvis that now nothing would stop from fullfilling their dream.
